Privacy Policy

What Propviz collects, why, who helps us process it, and the choices you have.

This policy explains what Propviz (“we”) collects when you use Propviz, why, who helps us process it, and the choices you have. We collect only what the service needs to work.

What we collect

  • Account details: your name, email address and sign-in details, handled by Clerk.
  • Uploads and results: the photos, drawings, floor plans, listing links and instructions you give us, and the images, videos and text we create from them. We send your uploads and instructions to our AI providers to create your results. Photos can show the inside of a home, so don’t upload anything you don’t want processed. Photos can also contain location data: we remove it from photos imported from a listing or a connected assistant, but not from photos you upload yourself.
  • Listing details: when you import a listing, we fetch the public page and copy its photos and description into your project. Names and contact details you add to an ad are saved with the project.
  • Billing: your plan, credits and payment history. Card details go straight to Stripe; we never see them.
  • Usage: the pages you visit and the features you use, your device and browser, and your approximate location from your IP address, measured with PostHog and Vercel Analytics. When you’re signed in, this is linked to your account, including your name and email address. Outside the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland we may also record how you use our pages, such as clicks and scrolling; text you type into forms is hidden in these recordings.
  • Support messages you send us.

Why we use it

  • To run Propviz and create your results (to perform our contract with you).
  • To bill you correctly and prevent abuse (our contract with you, and our legitimate interest in a secure service).
  • To understand how Propviz is used, and to fix, secure and improve it (our legitimate interests).
  • To measure whether our ads lead to sign-ups, outside the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland (our legitimate interests).
  • To answer your questions.

We do not sell your data. We don’t use your uploads or results to train AI models, and Google, our main AI provider, doesn’t use them to train its models either. Some paid features use other AI providers, which handle data under their own terms.

Who helps us process it

Clerk (sign-in), Stripe (payments), Supabase (database), Cloudflare (file storage and delivery), Vercel (hosting, analytics and bot protection), PostHog (product analytics and session recordings), Google Cloud Vertex AI (image, video and text generation), fal.ai (some image and video models; it may pass requests to the model’s maker), Firecrawl (listing import), Google Ads (ad measurement) and Amazon Web Services (older files).

If you connect Propviz to an AI assistant, such as ChatGPT or Claude, the assistant sends us the files and instructions you choose and receives your results. Its provider handles that under its own privacy terms.

Some of these providers process data in the United States. Where data leaves the UK or the EEA, we rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses.

Cookies and analytics

We use the cookies and browser storage needed to sign you in, keep your account secure, take payments and make the studio work, such as remembering your workspace and canvas. These are always on.

If you visit from the EU, EEA, UK or Switzerland, which we tell from your device’s time zone, that’s all we store. We measure visits without cookies, we don’t record sessions, and we don’t load Google Ads.

Elsewhere, PostHog keeps an ID in a cookie and in your browser’s storage so it can recognise return visits, and Google Ads sets its own cookies to measure whether our ads lead to sign-ups. Vercel Analytics counts visits without cookies everywhere.

Sharing and public links

When you share a presentation, anyone with the link can see and download the results you chose, and the original photos if you include them. You can turn a link off at any time, but that can’t recall copies already downloaded.

Your files are delivered from web addresses that are hard to guess but not private: anyone who has a file’s address can open it.

How long we keep it

We keep your account, uploads and results while your account is open. When you close it, we delete your uploads and results within 30 days and keep billing records for as long as tax law requires. Session recordings are deleted after 30 days.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, and to object to or limit how we use it. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to your local data protection authority. To make a request, email hello@propviz.ai. We respond within 30 days.

Children

Propviz is for adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18, and images of children may not be uploaded.

Who we are

Propviz is run by Allyce AI Ltd., which is responsible for your personal data as its “controller”. When this policy changes in a way that matters, we’ll tell you by email or in the studio before the change takes effect. Questions: hello@propviz.ai.
